Brian Ó hEadhra is an established and highly acclaimed musician & singer based in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland. He performs with the Gaelic quartet Cruinn as well as with the trio Charlie McKerron and Sandy Brechin in the trio MacKerron, Brechin & Ó hEadhra. Brian is probably now best known through is work with his acclaimed duo Brian Ó hEadhra and Fiona Mackenzie who have released two albums, TÌR - Highland Life & Lore and TUATH - Songs from the Northlands, on the Naxos World label.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Brian's music is possibly best known across the folk world through the band Anam which he established while studying Irish Folklore and English Literature at University College Dublin in 1994. Anam toured the world, released five albums (three on the Japanese JVC Victor label) and eventually ceased performing in 2005.
Over the years he has performed on numerous albums with different acts and projects, including two solo albums. Brian sings and writes songs in English, Irish and Scottish Gaelic.

Brian is a passionate advocate for Gaelic language and culture. He works as Partnerships Manager for non-departmental public body Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
